Michelle's motivation for fundraising back in 1991 with the passing of her grandmother Jean Inglis from breast cancer. In 2007, Michelle decided it was time to establish a charity with a difference and Zig Zag was born. Zig Zag's point of difference is to remain virtually administration cost free (purely voluntary) and was to help children in need (0-18 years) that are sick, at risk or under-privileged. Michelle focuses on the overall running of the charity, corporate and event sponsorship, annual charity ball co-ordination and is also part of the funding committee.
